Don't know what my obsession with the letter x is. But it seems that 3 out of 5 of them have an x in the name. Anyway I have been busting my hump on this one.
I am in the process of fine tuning the main windows now. Any suggestions would be helpful.
What I did since you last saw it.

changed c buttons a bit.
added shuffle, auto, preamp on/off, presets,
name on titlebar
volume and bal sliders, "took cappy's advice on em"
Added embellishments
Playlist done.

Things I don't really know if I like.

Some what blurry lines across eq sliders
empty preset button
general look of playlist, "not sure if it meshs with the rest of the skin"

What do you guys think.
oh yeah, Can't seem to make them damn minimize button on the playlist sync. It keeps going 1 pixel to the right and I can't seem to figure it out.

Love the EQ, just the damd look I was searching for on my latest thanggggg, but seems you beat me to it hehe, never mind back to the drawing board for jonesy.

As for your playlist button problem, wouldn't worry about it man, it's a co-ordinate bug on winamp, you will never fix it lol, trust me I've tried, think the only way around it is to do a solid colour background with a solid colour button, not practical I know, just live with it, it's just a jump to the right....

I would seriously consider changing the name, except it's a whole concept thing with this amp. I can't really say what it is right now. But you will see when it's completely done.
Love it hey.. Gee thanks alot. You know there's more then one way to skin a cat. Meaning that a variation on the theme could work. From the screencap of your main window that I have seen. It could work out fine. Personally if you want to use anything off of my eq, Feel free. But i'm sure you like to create your own layout configurations. Just thought i'd offer.

Definitly have to do something about those damn buttons. I certainly don't like em the way they are..

I like the look of the EQ sliders. They're only hitch is that they're much brighter than the other gold elements in the skin. Or do you mean the push buttons? The Presets probably should have something inside of it, but something different from the auto/on buttons.

Playlist: give the menu buttons more definition. Add some of your cloud effect to the overall frame.

Just my opinion.

Updates..

Mostly suggestions from cappy..

Added gradient pixels to preset button.
Embellished playlist bottons for definition.
Added star at the botton.
Adjusted bightness/contrast of eq slider buttons.

Plus

Fixed up playlist scrollbutton
Custom cursors for all the normal states of the 3 main
windows.
Fixed up text.bmp to make it more readable and cleaner looking.

cappy, I tried to add clouds and stuff, but nothing seemed to work. It just kept looking out of place. Any other suggestions. I think it's looking pretty good so far.

BTW.. The download link is also updated with the new changes. Along with the pic above.

I don't mind the screen cap's file size, but put it in 1x, not doublesize, please. It's the dimensions that bug me!

It seems to me if you are looking for a new title do something like "eclipse" or "Caraona" ... something bright and celestial sounding...

If the clouds don't work, how about a gradient wash from one corner to the opposite. From black to dark grey?

What a nice skin pixelpusher :D Very nice overall...but that whitish dotted line that 'zigs' on the bottom of the eq, and the winshade/close buttons on the playlist might look more uniform to the skin if they were a bit darker.

I liked your playlist buttons the way they were before, but that's just my humble opinion :)
