When I try to change songs on my winamp, it plays about two seconds of the song then stops giving sound. I have to go to RealPlayer and touch something on that screen to make winamp work. I have to do this every time I change songs.

Most likely its because you have all your media players associated with the type of file you are using.

Try making Winamp your dedicated player associated with music files.
