Okay, I'm real new around here, but just out of curiosity-

Since Nullsoft always seems swamped these days anyway (when aren't they), and since the rating system does constantly seem to be 'off', have any of you bigshot skinners asked to help 'em out in the rating department? It doesn't seem to me like it would be a big deal to add a few more reviewers. (though I'll confess I'm talking out of my ass here since I don't know any of the specifics of the process.) That's it, I was just sitting around wondering about that. -BG

I'm not a 'bigshot' skinner....but I do have an answer to your question :)

The reviewers here at Winamp.com are actually AOL interns. A few months back Winamp had access to 15 interns for reviewing, now (I don't know why) they only have 2. Many people have offered to do reviews....but with the skins archive set up the way it is currently, that would mean letting people they don't really know have access to the huge skins database that they have here at Winamp.

They are currently working to get the database switched over to a public rating system. :)
