Have any of u guys submitted ur skins to other sites than winamp.com?

Mr Jones 22nd February 2001 10:55

Only 1001winampskins.com LOL after I submitted there I found my skins all over the net, exact duplicates of the 1001database, spelling mistakes and all.

skinz.org, could try there, not to my personal taste, but it's a popular site.

Back to the day job :)

Deskmod.com is also fairly popular. They have a public review system. And they provide links to other works by the same designer, if you find one you like. :)

I've only submitted to 1001 and WSD besides Winamp.com. I was going to submit to Skinz.org...but if someone ever left a nasty comment...I'd probably start cryin'....so I didn't do it.....yet :D

i agree with Cappy deskmod.com is a real good site, most of the ppl that post comments are really helpful as well

It seems to me tho that deskmod.com and skinz.org are more visited by other "digital artists" and other skinners. I think that if you would want to spread your skin across the web,and reach "the general public"... 1001 and winamp.com are THE way to go. Just my .02

ampburner makes a very valid point. Hanging around DeskMod is sort of like posting only in this forum, only bigger. And it includes artists from other skinning disciplines.

I've submitted skins to 1001, but they have yet to be posted! I'll go resubmit now.
