another 2.x skinning contest, cuz i'm thinking of running one, but im not 2 sure if any1 is interested i kno that a lot of people do not want to do anymore 2.x skins

anyway could u please post up here if u'd be interested i'll do all of the running for it, winning skins decided by me and some of my mates!

i'll be waiting until after the easter amp is finsihed cuz i know a lot of people are working on that, i thought it might be a good idea cuz since the last contest we have a lot more skinners in the forums now,

Im game, given that we have a decent amount of time to work on it. Give me a chance to practice my pgraphic skillz, afore I get bogged down with polishing my coding skillz.

Great idea, not sure if I'll have any inspiration. Still sitting here, waiting... Oh, well. I'll probably think of something. I don't like how my skins are always cutting and pasting stuff. I gotta make all the graphics myself for once.

Also, Rikki, I've noticed that Geocities is now blocking your signature. I had mine on Geocities, but had to move it to Tripod. You might want to move yours, too.

Sounds like fun! Just a question for you all, when it says moderator next to a name, what is that all abooot? Does that mean they work for nullsof or what then? Jayn, you must know!

I find the idea of "competition" skinning to be ummmmmmm, ahhhh, how to put this, "bad taste"

Pitting people against people with a view to going one up on someone is to me against the principal of what skinning is about.

Surely it's about getting the ideas out there, setting the creative mind rushing, not proclaiming one skin to be better than another.

I for one will not be taking part in this or any other competition.

I normally would feel like Mr Jones on this one. I don't much care about contests. However I might enter my lastest creation if I ever finish it. Just because I think it's the best I've done so far. But if I did, it would be with the realization that the contest does not in any way reflect the being of the skin in question. As it is a contest with people judging who may or may not have personal tastes, likes and dislikes. so forth.. Blah blah blah.

By the way bill. What That moderator thing is.
Well, it means anyone with that title is allowed to verbally bodyslam you if you get out of line. And they get to do it without getting in trouble.. It's kind of like being ruler of the universe. LOL..

BTW, as a moderator- i do not work for nullsoft- i am simply- appointed by nullsoft to make sure nothing goes out of line - i.e. someone posting hate monger/racist stuff, etc etc. Once in awhile if the same person floods a forum with the same message, i whack or lock all the duplicates.

Finally found inspiration...

I have decided to steal the colors from the dead "Terminus" skin I started for Winamp 3. The skin will be named "Terminus" because I think it's a great name. And because I felt like naming it after something to do with Isaac Asimov's books and that sounded better than "Olivaw" or "Trantor."

sorry pixelpusher the skins need to be not influenced by any1, all ur own ideas and im just about to change the deadline i didnt actually know that it was thi close to the end of the month, so the new deadline will be the 14th april
