Long long ago when the Earth was new,
There was a magical mystical Shoutcat with nothing to do.
Up and down, he searched
Until he met the sage Tom perched,
Under the sacred boddhi tree
As happy as happy can be.

"What ever is there to play?"
"For I am bored all day!"
Cried out the Shoutcat.
"Lessee if I can make something pretty phat."
Replied Tom.
So Tom popped open his CD-ROM,
And inserted his Visual C++ CD
As happy as happy can be.

And coded and coded all night,
When the Shoutcat exclaimed "Aight,
That looks pretty fly!
D'ye think you can get that thing out to the kids tonigh'?"
So Tom whipped off his latest invention
To the children of the internet revolution.
And there were all so happy.
As happy as happy can be.

The kids could play all there tunes
Even if they were eating spaghetti with a spoon!
You see, the magical mystical Shoutcat
Had inspired Tom to develop Shoutcast!
