This is the weirdest thing and I dont understand it. This is not a bug with Winamp, cuz i tried playing the mp3 files with other mp3 players. It seems as though, my mp3 file have been all jumbled up. What I mean by this is, I will open for example Baha men - Who let the dogs out, and Instead of that playing, Shaggy will play..this has happened to a number of my songs, and I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before. I find it very odd. Also if anyone can please help me out. Thanks

Have those mp3's always been like that, or did it happen just after a while? I'm betting when you ripped them from the CD you (or whoever did it) labeled them in the wrong order, that's all.

They have just turned like that, I dont know what happened, but if I open One song, another song starts playing instead. Winamp will still open the first song and it reads the title of the first song, but yet it plays a completley different song. It is very odd, I may have to redownload my whole collection all over agian :(

Sometimes when I try to listen to an mp3 directly from my CD-player (40x pioneer), first the song I wanted plays for a second, and then it switches to another song for three seconds, and then back to the original song again, and after that no more problems. The song that 'pops' in is always the song that lies after the current one on the CD in a physical matter.

It does the same even if I 'drag and drop' the song to my hard disc drive before I play it, so it obviousley is a problem with my CD-player and my home-burned CD's.

To get around this problem I use the CD in my burner which has no problem reading them (reads at 24x), or, strangely enough, i copy the file using the dos command copy from a dosprompt.
