I have multiple files with Japanese names, such as "06 - ƒXƒgƒŒƒ“ƒW ƒJƒƒŒƒIƒ“ (original story).mp3" Winamp will load these into playlist, but will not play them. They are valid MP3 files, because they will play if I rename them. I'm running windows2000 with NTFS.

(this filename will not show up correctly because of UBB limitations as well)

it doesn't work with an english version of windows

if you have the japanese version try this language pack: http://win32lab.com/fsw/wpjkit/index.html

Thanks for the info about the japanese version. MS should only sell multilingual versions.
