Hello to the helpful populace. I am only having one problem with Winamp. I currently use 2.72. If I load any number of files into the playlist, start playing, and then leave it alone for a few hours..... the playlist clears itself. The only thing left is some file (Media.wav usually) that is being repeatedly played without sound even though the file does not exist. This is not a system critical error because I can just delete the playlist entry and load another list. It is very annoying to leave my PC for a few hours and comeback to see that the list has cleared itself.....Oh, this occurs no matter what the player is doing... ie playing or not playing a file.


The state of Winamp:
Default Standard Mp3 Decoding setup
Random Mode on
Repeat Mode on

Hardware is not an issue. Configuration is not a problem. This appears to be a software bug associated with some timing code. Here is the run down anyway.

Win2K, 256Ram, SoundBlaster Live, ATI Rage Pro.
