I know this is a little off-topic, I don't think WinAmp can do it, but does anybody know how to rip songs off a cd-extra, or (at least) play them in winamp 2.x ? any help would be appreciated,

Eric

Get the third-party CD-in plugin and try with it and the Out-MP3 plugin.

Or else, invest a little cash in a good ripper program such as Audiograbber ([url]http://www.audiograbber.com*********/[/url).

I always use rippers instead of winamp to rip, because Winamp has no normalizing function and normalizing is critical to maintenance of acoustic quality.

The answer to your FAQ, Greenbirdz, is to right-click on winamp and ask "play/audio CD". It will access audio tracks even if the explorer don't see them.

I think CDEX can rip those tracks. Not too sure, though

Anyway EAC (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de) can rip them, sure!
