Stream Listing On Shoutcast.com
 

Does this line "Stream Genre(s): Jazz , Latin Jazz , Salsa" on my shoutcast admin page have anything to do with my shoutcast listing and how do i list my station under LatinJazz instead of Jazz????? Can the order of genres be changed or can i hard code the genre in the config file????

you can only select from the list of genres you'll find at rmo.shoutcast.com for your station -- it's not a freeform, put anything you like, field anymore. if you change it, to an unknown genre, it will either be ignored, or best-fit to a supported genre.

also note that on radionomy.com (if you're listed there) genres are a bit different as well - some conversion takes place.

your first genre only will be what your station is listed under on shoutcast.com. so if your source app allows... put it in there.
