Meta Data Is Not Showing Correctly
 

Hello, I have only my Stream Name And Song Name Showing Only on Shoutcast.com / SC Directory, but it shows correctly on server and will show when clicked play only on some mobile apps.

I have 3 attached screen shots.

So meta data is not showing correctly. I had a ice cast server that relayed to shoutcast I had not problem. I checked with my host Ice Cast Center and they told me it shows on the the server as in screen shot so the issue is with ShoutCast back end.

Is there a known issue with metadata? I know there are various bugs.

first, id recommend installing the latest version.

second, be sure you are not seeing stale or cached versions of any page. clear your temp files and browser cache.

try a more commonly used browser such as safari, firefox, chrome, opera.

make sure you are viewing the same SID if you have multiple streams on the DNAS or view the xml metadata for the entire server, not just a single SID.

also make sure you are running the latest version of whatever app you are using to source the DNAS.

No not yet, I advised my server host and he checked the items mentioned.

I do see that there was an update to Shoutcast v2, which was installed. You'll need to goto your Shoutcast admin page here and update your authhash to manage the listing in Shoutcast.com:

Click on "Update Authhash".

Please keep in mind
1) No other stations that we host seem to be experiencing this issue
2) You are broadcasting properly, metadata is received on our end properly
3) I cannot see any issues on our end.
4) You are not using any more than 1 SID, so that's not an issue
5) I checked the xml metadata from your Shoutcast server. It is reporting BOTH artist and song title. This is as expected.
6) No, your previous stream is not interfering since you turned it off.

All that said, if the issue persists, it's certainly not originating on our end as I cannot find anything that you are doing differently. You're doing everything properly.

well ive checked your metadata and it all looks like its working fine to me.. was the same on the index page, the xml page, and the shoutcast yp listing.
