Relaying a Shoutcast V1 Server to V2

As our station using the Shoutcast V1.9.8 don't seems to be supported any more I have to find a solution now. Unfortunately I can't dispense from our server as it is part of our casting control system and because we have some scripts on our website which are only compatible with Shoutcast V1 scripts (like the "AOL"-ID which is important for our live status). So my idea is to use the new Shoutcast V2 as relay connecting with our V1.9.8 Shoutcast. Is that possible?

I already register here and try to start a Shoutcast streaming service by choosing the left option but I only get an error: An error occured while saving your radio station. What's going wrong there? :(

Yes, but you won't be listed in yellow pages. YP has a bad bug where the play button does not work properly (and tech support are ignoring it) so concentrate on being listed elsewhere.

You can also relay from v2 to v1 which *will* list you on YP but on ly the v2 listeners will appear. Your v1 will have misleading YP warning messages about permissions every 6 minutes so you have to live with a messy and large log file.
