Renaming playlist in director
I want to rename the playlist in the directory.
example: >I rename playlist plf26D.m3u8 to TEST1 >Winamp recreates plf26D when I rename it >Now I have both plf26D and TEST1 in the directory >Winamp only uses plf26D How do i fix this? I just want the names inside winamp to correlate to the directory, thus making sharing between PCs easier. |
Also, if I rename an entire playlist folder full of playlist and import it into another PC.
It will rename every single playlist into that "plf" bullshit again inside the directory and keep the names within winamp correct. 1-800-Come-on-now. |
bump.
Been trying to figure this out too, I want my directory names to match the names within winamp. The whole plf filing system is useless and has never worked for me. |
Does nobody know how to do this? I just want my playlist to have the correct names as listed in the xlm file instead of the plf bullshit
|
Maybe you could keep the playlists in some location outside Winamp and give up using the default location.
