I do some broadcasting using Shoutcast and have just recently purchased a new soundcard (Philips Rhythmic Edge). I have been receiving complaints of static in the broadcast and the static also shows up on my recordings of broadcasts, but the sound when I'm not broadcasting is perfectly clear. I've checked for new drivers but to no avail. Could this be a Shoutcast issue? Thanks in advance for your help!
