When I select like 50 or so songs and open them, my computer freezes cause like 50 winamps open up on me. Why is that? It never used to do that until i got the new winamp. Let me know what to do.

What method are you using to open these songs? (there's about 4 or 5 different ways)

For now, goto: Prefs -> Options
Uncheck "Allow multiple instances"

If that still doesn't work for ya, try:
Prefs -> FileTypes : checkmark "Enqueue as default action"

Don't try that multiple instance thing, that will result in Winamp loading a song and replacing it fifty times.

Go for that "Enqueue as default action" thing. Or, if you usually use Winamp to open single files, don't but open multiple files by a right-click on them, selecting "enqueue in Winamp".

Generally:
Enqueue = add files to playlist
Open: Replace playlist-contents with a file / a folder's contents.

Yeah, that's basically what I said . . . in a much more concise way :)
I said uncheck "multiple instances" & select "Enqueue"
