I install Winamp 2.73 on my PC (AMD K6 200, 48 Mo RAM, AWE64SoundBlaster on Windows 95)). When I play more than 3 (or more) mp3 track, the program cause an erreur and my computer stop to work (Blue screen).
Does somebody have an idea on my problem, it would help me a lot ?

what is the error and what does the blue screen say? in the mean time, you might try upgrading to winamp 2.74. it fixes a number of various bugs.

BSoD = Probably being caused by a 3rd party plugin (General Purpose; DSP/FX; extra Input) that is no longer compatible with the current version/s of Winamp.

Though, as Mr. Ice says, we could do with knowing the full details of the error.

but i don't think that the problem is a Kernel problem because all other programs work fine.

I try to install another mp3 reader (Sonique) and i have the same problem (after several play, the application crash).

Je pense que tu devrais essayer de réinstaller Windows. Si Sonique plante aussi, c'est que le problème vient sûrement de Windows.

Ouais je crois que je vais être oblige de le faire. mais j'airais aimé eviter ca, car cela fait plusieurs siecle je je l'ai installer et je risque de perdre pas mal de trucs et pas mal de temps pour retrouver une configuration correcte.

Fais des backups si tu peux, soit sur CDR/RW soit sur des disques ZIP. Autre truc : n'oublie pas de faire une copie de ton fichier cdplayer.ini (stocke les infos des CD prises sur CDDB) ainsi que tes skins et plug-ins de Winamp.
