Not fake. I took that screenshot last night. And the only real image editor I have (if anything) is Paint, and even then, I am no good at that kind of thing. C'mon, someone must have seen it.

It's not fake guys. wyrd pointed it out to me when it was still there -- he also pointed it out to SLK and egimp and whoever else was in *******. No one started a topic at the time because we didn't wanna start a flame war or start any bitching about custom tags or anything. Anyways.. it's back to normal :) all is well. bonj is no longer jealous

Yeah it is real..seen it with my own eyes...Probably just one of the other mods, being bored and poking fun for a little while...figured they didn't get caught :D :D :)

That picture is real. How many times do we have to say that it is real. I saw the custom title. It was there for a few hours. Read the thread that Twilightseer linked to.

Uh, did anyone look carefully at SLK's post? Now _she_ has a custom tag _without_ the (Moderator) tag after it! The truth is out: the mods can change anyone's tag at will. Grrr, I want a custom tag daggit! Gimme one!

I knew that mods could change their titles all along. I just thought that the vB software added (Moderator) to them no matter what (like on Xerxes' title). I'm not that stupid. But my question still stands, if the mods can and will change s1138's title, why can't we all have custom titles? Well? Why not?

it would be too much of a hassle for all us to tell them what we want as a custom title and them to go and do it, and the "(moderator)" tag was just there to allow people who didnt know who the mods were could know.

Ok guys, chill. I don't know who changed s1138's title, but I'm sure it was done only as a joke... just for a few laughs. I'm sure that whoever changed it didn't want everyone else to bicker about not having one too, so it got changed back.

Custom tags or not, I still find it kind of amusing to look at the screenshot. s1138 should print that out and put it on his fridge. :D

Hmm, I thought it would be as easy as another field given to the mod/administrator to change a title. I know it's not granted in the Winamp forums, but is it possible for any member with a vB board to allow users to customize those tags through the software? Just a thought.

IMO custom titles should stay a privilege to mods only. It's part of the reward you get when you're promovated :p
