I recently downloaded Winamp, everything great. EXCEPT: spectrum analyzer won't start. Left clicked, I get nothing, nothing, and flat white line. Pointer seems to flash on the second "nothing" and on the flat white line. I played with the settings alittle, no change.

I'm guessing I've got a conflict somewhere in my system, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I fixed the spectrum analyzer by changing the CDDA.DLL input plugin to CDREADER.DLL.

Now it skips.
I'm still reading, but gotta work in three hours, will read more tomorrow, any help on "the skips" greatly appreciated. Tried buffers, etc. No good.

Followed your thread, tried all suggested fixes, except updating drivers. None seem to help. System is a high end Sony Viao Notebook, only one year old, drivers couldn't be that far off !!! (could they ?)700mhz, 128 meg, DVD.

I'm still reading, but getting dizzy.....

Tried messing with aspi's. No good.

Fixed it !!!
Downloaded 2.74, was using 2.72. Plugged in CDReader, and everything works !!! Took alittle tweaking, but it's running great (I think).
