self-explanatory, i s'pose...my winamp won't make HTML playlists anymore...which sux ass because i wanted to update the list of mp3s on my homepage...i tried reinstalling, even installing older versions. still no luck.
Can you give some detail on "won't work"? What haoppens, what do you do?
html needs to be associated with Internet Explorer (not some other browser or editor) in Windows Folder Options -> File Types for this feature to work (Playlist Ed -> Misc -> Misc Options -> Generate html playlist).
to sawg
i pressed ctrl+alt+g in the playlist window...it used to work (or i'd just press the misc opts button and scroll to the right option (i'd wait, and then i'd see an html file with all the songs on that playlist and stats))...maybe i'm running out of memory or something (win2k on 64 mb of RAM)...
now my pc just groans for a few seconds when i try it, and nothing else happens.
It groans?
 |
i'm just such a DORK...
i'm such a dork, but i'm posting this reply to help answer other people's questions (you may close this thread if you like).
in Winamp 2.6x, the generate playlist option (ctrl + alt + G in playlist window) causes a new browser window to open, which is what i was expecting to happen. i never use the minibrowser, so i was halfway not expecting what happened when i reinstalled winamp (assuming the playlist problem could be attributed to a bad install)...the html playlist popped up in the minibrowser window. (well, nullsoft said they made the mb more functional...) winamp rocks. |
