Ya wanna know what's funny about that? I've actually got a friend that drives a '72 Cadillac DeVille hearse. It's dark grey with a black top, and has a giant Big Block under the hood. =) It's awesome as hell, but it's rated in gallons per mile... =D

oh. the one i have my eye on is a late model caddy. alas, it'll never happen. unless i geet rich, buy a new one, and have Troy Trepanier do the chop work.

It's been 'back-halved', which means the rear frame has been replaced with a new frame to support the narrowed, fully-braced Ford 9" rear end, 4-link rear suspension and the wide Mickey Thompson tires. The car has a full 10-point roll cage, 5 way safety harnesses, racing bucket seats, sound-deadening interior.
The engine is a 427 tall-deck 4-bolt block housing a 454 crank, Crane roller blower cam, Crane roller rockers, Mooneyham 6-71 supercharger, 2 Holley 750 double-pumpers (that were tricked out by the Carb Shop), and all of the estimated 800 horsepower is routed to the rear tires via a 3500 RPM stall speed converter and a Mike's Turbo 400 transmission (complete with transbrake).

Unreal!
Some manufacturers used to make woodies but this is Xtreme!

mr_sax 27th May 2001 07:00

uh is everything in it wood? wouldn't that be uncomfortable to sit in?

DJ ROACH 27th May 2001 22:46

it doesnt drive its art! but it floats you can use it as a boat! :D

Bilbo Baggins 27th May 2001 23:50

Based on that logic, dead bodies float, but you cannot really use them as boats:D

Unless you are a necrophile, and then yopu have a floating brothel...
