Wassup? I use the cd_reader to play audio CD's in extract mode. This works fine from both my DVD-ROM and my CD-RW, without having to have a noisy cd audio cable jacked into my soundcard. My issue is with CD's that have data and audio. My windows explorer does not see hte audio tracks, and apparently, neither does winamp as I cant play these cd's or drag the audio tracks to the playlist. If I launch (ACK NOOOOO) real pukebox, it sees the audio tracks fine (but I get no audio because I ripped the audio cable from the drive to the soundcard out).

Any ideas as to why this may be?

Thanks.. Undoc

Thanks.. now I feel like a heel! The CD was my wife's. All of my CD's are burned and pure audio, or mp3 data CD's, and I NEVER in 2 years or more payed attention to the menu in the corner. DOH!

Oh.. and its not a lightning bolt for me.. it is a penguin as I am using a skin from xmms, which is what I run on my linux boxes (and hopefully soon my solaris box.
