When running Winamp ver: 2.65, OS Windows 98 1st edition,
the cursor (arrow) flashes when placed on the edge of an open window or in any area of MS Word or about anywhere else I try to place the cursor. Quite anoying! Anybody have this problem? Any fixes? I am running an AMD K6 550 meg processor and 196 megs of RAM. A Princeton EO 720 monitor. ATI Rage 11C AGP graphics card, with a Mach 64 GT chip, software, 5.30-CD5. Any Help would be nice cause I wanna stay with Winamp. |
I had this problem too. The only way I managed to fix it was by switching to all monochrome cursors. This may suck for some people but I personally really like the inversion effect you can have on cursors, even monochrome ones. I have the inverse cursors package I made for winamp available for download. Just click here or here to download either package.
To add them to a skin, simply extract the cursors to the skin's folder. If the skin is zipped, then just extract the cursors to an easily accessible location, and then add them to the skin's zip archive. |
