I love CDDB, but it doesn't like my band's CDs.
For each situation, I've written what currently happens and what I'd like to have happen:
Situation A: I insert a store-bought CD. What happens: CDDB finds the names of the tracks on my CD so that I can scroll through them, and I am happy. :D :p What should happen: Same! Situation B: I insert a recording of my band on CD. What happens: When each track loads, the "Retrieving CDDB information..." window pops up, then a second window, titled, "CD/Track titles." I have to close the window or press cancel for every track! This frustrates me greatly.  What should happen: Since it didn't find anything via CDDB, it should just play my CD and not gripe at me and make me close the window. So how do I get what I want here? I don't want to turn CDDB off completely, but I still want to give it a spanking and make it behave. |
In the configuration for the IN_CDDA.DLL input plugin, disable CDDB support. The downside is it won't look up your store-bought CD's anymoe either.

Derp!
I know how to do that, but I don't want to since I use CDDB. Isn't there any way for it to do nothing if it doesn't find the CD?
