A lot of the mp3's I have, have kanji titles. •‚´‚³‚ꂽ‰æŽº is what displays in winamp, whereas http://www.geocities.com/daniel_e_wood/Ali_Project.jpg shows in IE; however, I get these strange systemfont equivilent characters in winamp. Is there planned future support for other font types?

I'd like to see that picture. All there is is an X meaning a dead link. You didn't put it on Geocities did you? They don't allow linking. Host it off of Brinkster.
Anyhow, Does the song play alright? Winamp is an MP3 player, not a web browser, so it only supports one font at a time. To make those filenames viewable you'd lose the ability to properly read english filenames. |
On a more optimistic note, you might want to try this plugin:
Tixoft Font Plug II. It allows Winamp to support international fonts on its display. Therefore you can customize the song title display in your own way, as long as the font is installed on your computer. |
