I'm relatively new to WA, & I don't understand the comments I read relative to not being able to use the WA equalizer when playing CD's. I'm using WA 2.74 w/o any plug-ins related to I/O..I am using WaveSurround V3. For example, I select the CD drive & right click 'EXPLORE'.. I select a CD track & right click 'SEND TO: WA ENQUE or WA PLAY'..I can then use the WaveSurround plug-in &/or the WA equalizer.

To use the equaliser in winamp when playing CD's, you need to install the CD Reader plugin.

CD/Equalizer

Tx for your quick response, however...I wasn't reporting a problem. My comment is I don't have CD READER installed & I can use WA's equalizer when I play a disk!?!

Then Winamp seems to be digitally playing your CD's. There's nothign wrong with that, indeed, although I admit it is curious for someone using the default CD input plugin to have the EQ work on CD's.
