I know this isn't a new problem, but I've tried to get WA Music to play w/o (what appears to be) buffer underunning but nothing yet works. I select'MODEM or AOL', select only 56K or less rates. Music starts fine/clear/solid, but within10-15 secs, stops to reload the buffer...I changed the Nullsoft wavOUT settings to max buffer size, max block length, max priority, but NO JOY... I have an IBM: 400MHz; 8GB HD; 96MB RAM. WIN98 OS; sound card is basic..ESS Solo-1 PCI Audio drive; Short of buying a new sound card (if that's the problem), is there anything else I can try??

Streamed music? The problem has nothing to do with the plugins. It's just because your internet provider is slow. Sign up with a different company or get DSL or Cable.

WA Music
Tx for the response, but, my service provider is AOL...I always log-on at 44Kb/s (IBM/Rockwell basic 56Kb/s modem) or better.. I realize this isn't necessarily the speed at the time I'm trying to listen to MP3 music, but are you saying that everyone using AOL at my rate should have or has the same problem?

Connection speed is very rarely the actual speed. And yes, since AOL is a rather overpopulated service provider, many people in your area should be having the exact same problem as you are.
