well...

after the firewall incident, you'd think my connection was ok? well no... today it just stopped working and i had the whole shaw@home tech support stumped, as they only have one answer that they can stand by that fixes everything -

"formatt your harddrive, and do a fresh install"

well that's what i'm gonna do tommorow with a friend, right now i'm using a slow ass multi proxy that connects me more than once to a website via IP adresses because that's the only thing that my computer can connect to - IP addresses, not www websites at all. only their IP adresses, so by using this proxy, i've cheated it, because my computer is requesting the pages through IP numbers (the proxy addresses)..

well ACK i hate stupid connections! it's so hard to fix anything that goes wrong on my computer or it's connections!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh!

that is my anger releif for today. thank you!

The techs who installed my @home originally didn't get the job done right, so I went the format route and installed it myself. Just make sure you have the all important user number beforehand.

By the way, this belongs in the land of bitch. You mind?;)

Wow, you have your own personal Internet?! Congratulations!

Good luck keeping it up and running. Internets are known to be very hard to manage. They fail all the time. That's to be expected.

LoL

that's not quite what i ment..

what do you mean by "the all important user number beforehand"?

and yes :p this should be in the bitch world... but i'm too lazy to go over there..

probably wouldn't get many replies too

Account number.
they didn't write mine down for me meaning I had to use the "communicate by tin can-string-tin can" tech support. It's too bad they only have one tech support dude to serve the world.

oh for my service they just find out who you are by the phone number you call in by, so they just ask a question like

"wut's the name the account is under?"

and you answer and they help you with whatever - they have all the info right there in front of 'em
