As seen in the Plugins forum.

Use the AVS plugin as follows:
Render / Moving particle - r000g000b255...next to farthest...next to smallest...
Trans / Blur - Light Blur
Trans / Colorfade - first bar 100% right...second bar 100% right...third bar 100% left

Viola! LIFE!

ALL HAIL THE GLORY OF THE HYPNO-TOAD!

I started a new AVS preset and input your settings and it looks very colorful and hypnotic. Is this right? Of course I mixed up this setting and another setting by accident and came up with this little number that I think is a wee bit cooler.

Yeah

You can get all sorts of variations by screwing with the object's color, the blur, and the colorfade's top two bars (but keeping them one on top of the other).
Try a green moving particle, medium blur, and next-to-last-right setting on the first and second colorfade bars...
