dude - nice sig. how did you do that? and yes, i do make good pizza :D
ps. 1000. yay. only 999,000 more till i start a thread about em. |
his sig is now MY ip address as a warez server and i am not.
His sig cycles different images with different messages along with the IP address. I think that's what John was inquiring about :) Looks like he just embedded a php script as an image though
yeah - its always the ip of your puter. but my question is how does he
1. get the ip 2. run the script 3. generate the image 4. send it back so fast? |
oh ok.. just that we can't see the IP of ppl regularly on the forums, and he's making it so we can. this might turn out to be a problem...
zxypher - i see my ip, u see your ip. bonj sees his ip, xerxes sees his ip, chev sees his, and jayn sees hers, and so on.
Heh. You guys have nothing to worry about. That script only tells you your own IP.
The source is here. :) |
I LOVE that sig, Griffin!
Mostly because my wondrous name appears there alot AND it doesn't have "asshole" attached to it like when most others use it here:D |
Wow! Now I know where to get all of my warez and pizza!!! :) lol
oooooo... Winamp whips 24.2... wait!!! WA whips MY ass? I feel blessed :)
I'm no longer a Sig-lebrity?!?http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/lau...elrotflmao.gif
Oh yes you still are. I've tweaked the script a bit. (But you might need to keep hitting "Reload" a few times to get your name to appear.)
u fit all the html in your signature area? how?
That's a PHP script, not HTML. Writing the script as plain text into your sig space would not work, of course.
You have to save that script as a .php file in your own web host's machine, and that machine's web server has to be configured to run .php files as PHP scripts. Then you come back to the forums, edit your sig, and use the img tag to point to the .php file. |
OH me understands now..
so, wut program do you use to host from ur own comp? tried to find some but they so crapy! o well.. |
