Are we talking visualization plugins here?
The EQ (Graphic Equalizer) has got nothing to do with 3D Video cards!

Anyway, I'm pretty sure you meant vis plugins . . . maybe try Geiss
Though the default AVS plugin doesn't require a 3D card either.
Just needs DirectX 6.1 or higher installed & a P2 class MMX supportive CPU.

Thinking about it, there's loads of vis plugins that don't require a 3D card!
Goto the vis plugins section for more details.

lol - this guy has a 486 =) with a 1 meg gfx card and about 8 megs of ram - maybe 16 ;) oh well i got a few now to show him - u know any that will run on such a **** machine?

Are you serious about his computer? Well he shouldn't be jealous because he can't get the same performance as you in a million years. Anyway, yeah AVS should in theory work, as well as Geiss.

Also, there used to be a nullsoft visualisation library packed with winamp that would work pretty well on slow systems.

lol. I'm surprised that Winamp even works on a system so old as that! :D
I always thought that the min sysreq's for mp3 playback was a Pentium Class @ 96MHz.
He'd be best getting a very old version of Winamp from http://www.winampheaven.da.ru
The AVS in v2.75 won't run on anything less than a P2 (MMX required)
Sheesh, in this day & age, & there's people still using 486's :D
