I just read that a probable suicide bomber exploded and made fish food out of what was mostly teens having fun, waiting in line at a local disco by the beach. At least 17 dead so far.

I think it is a shame that people use religion to justify these things. It is a disgrace that they kill children, in an attempt to terrorise others into submission. In the eyes of the world it is shameful and cowardly. they never seem to realise that terror only unites people in their hatred against them, encouraging people to make sure that their demands are not met

It is also worth remembering that they do not view the deaths of children any worse than that of adults - In their so called religious and just eyes - the unbelieving children are just as bad as unbelieving adults

Yes, especially considering the younger generation are just as rotten to the core as their parents. There was an episode of ABC's Nightline recently, about an initiative called "Seeds of Hope" (or peace). Anyhow, they took a group of Palestinian and Israeli teens, and put them in a camp type of thing... they made a video, and everything. They made friends, blah blah blah... anyhow, when they returned to their respective homes, even though they said they enjoyed the experience and thought of each other as friends, they said that they considered each side enemies. One of them joined the Israeli army (requirement of all college/high school grads) as a sniper... he said if he was ordered, he would shoot the kid brother of his Palestinian friend.

Even in the West, tensions are high, and racism on both sides are unacceptable. This is why I hate multiculturalism... kids have so many misconceptions... Jews over here think that all Muslims are violent psychopaths who should all be locked up, and Muslims (even non-Palestinian, non-Arab ones) think jews rule the world, and are all out to get and massacre Muslims.

The UN is useless. It failed the people of Iraq, it failed the people of Cyprus, and holds no real power other than to legislate useless, unenforceable resolutions. NATO needs to get involved. The region is dangerously close to Turkey, and the presence of relatively neutral countries such as Canada and the UK should help things.

To see kids carrying assault weapons and hurling rocks at tanks hint to the abused impressionability of teenagers, especially by their parents. This thing has gotten passed down through the ages and no end is near. You would think that a small strip of land that has

The isrealites were naive and ignorant of history to think that they would be left alone in their little tract of given land; they would have none of these problems if they would have say... found a pacific island or a small piece of Argentina or something....
