To be a mod - you have to sign a lifelong contract with AOLTWNS, and become handcuffed to a nullsoft-issued computer for the rest of your life. BT only lets you out once a dat to piss, and you get the staff's leftovers for dinner. Then breakfast. then lunch. You'll eat it to the bone, like it or not. that's all they give you, so it lasts for days. Sometimes I can bribe Bill into letting me out into the parking lot to play basketball or something, but under constant supervision by sucurity cameras and an electrocuted fence with barbed ad razor wire. If we are bad- like Mr Jones did to Bojanglez - and change his signature [which BT did not endorse, I believe; or chev just said it was bad for no reason][I would have done the same thing...] we get locked in Mike [the llama]'s cage and if he's hungry he might eat an appendage or two.

either way, becoming a mod involves intensive slave work and LOTS of manual labor. Breaking rocks and carrying them around the Nullsoft HQ until we die is pretty much the meaning of our lives.

however...

if we are good, you get to sit in the staff lounge. and sit. and sit. and sit. It's better than mod work, but they don't give you anything else to occupy yourself with while you are there.
