Guess why? Because like the Vette, the Viper's main goal in life is to transfer as many horses as possible on the road.

My Sentra, on the other hand, was designed for handling, thus, I can pull 3G easy (I've taken it too a skid pad)

I've also been a passenger in an Benz E320 on a skidpad... what a fun ride! 5G, believe it or not. Of course, it can't maintain that for very long before keeling over heavily on two wheels.

There's no way a Sentra could pull that many g's... Unless you're talking about peak g-forces, in that case, maybe. The roadhandling rating for vehicles is determined by the average lateral acceleration of a vehicle during several trips around a 300-foot skidpad, not just the peak value. If we were talking about peak values, the Vette would easily be able to pull 7 or so g's...

Honestly, I could not tell you why so many people buy Civics when the BASE Sentra is so fucking fantastic.

Slightly weak on the uphills (only 126HP), but I've beat many Honda Preludes, and Acura Integras flat out. And there is no competition if there is heavy traffic, or any curves.
