Heh, I'm wondering if InvisableMan runs a special hacked version of ICQ that looks like this...

Just contributing my share of falsely alarming subjects! :p:D

Anacific 10th June 2001 05:25

Too bad I don't use ICQ anymore [bloatware:rolleyes:]

mr_sax 10th June 2001 05:27

u don't wanna use icq? use trillian. on win2k it said it was using 500kb of ram.

http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/

it allows ICQ, MSN, yahoo!, AOL and everything for you to chat on. one great program.

mr_sax 10th June 2001 06:02

LOL

someone write a program that harnesses that awsome power! do it! do it now!~!!

rm' 10th June 2001 06:09

They already exist. Look on altavista for them. But if you really well and truly insist, I could write up a VB app for you.

In the meantime, get all the morse code love you need right here.

Bizznatch 10th June 2001 08:23

why don't we all just go back to sending smoke signals? :)

rm' 10th June 2001 08:27

Because Morse can be put on microfilm, and yes, you got it, even microfiche!

griffinn 10th June 2001 08:52

And Morse code traverses all kinds of firewall, while smoke signals easily get interfered by the smoke emitted from firewalls that burn coal.

rm' 10th June 2001 09:03

Yes, but even unbloated ICQ takes 1 1/2 minutes to load.

At Kodak, we have braille integrated into all the emergency exit signs in the buildings. How the hell are blind people supposed to find a braille sign when they have no clue where the emergency exits are? We need to install braille signs everywhere that there aren't e-exits that say "You're both lost and screwed!"

Lucid DM 10th June 2001 14:54

I once saw an exit sign with braille on. It was above a rather tall door. Hmm. Useful! :D

Huehuetenango 10th June 2001 17:30

how are blind ppl supposed to know WHERE teh signs are?

and how do you go about unbloating icq?

nateJC 10th June 2001 18:01

The best Braille sign I've ever seen was at Six Flags Saint Louis. At the exit from Batman: The Ride, there is a sign that reads "NO ENTRANCE" with a Braille translation below it. The sign is behind a four foot tall wrought iron fence (the kind with the decorative pointy things at the top) and out of arm's reach!

Don't forget the braille on drive-up ATM machines :D
