I've got a couple of subwoofers that I've been needing to build an enclosure for... They're 8" dual voice subs. I designed a ported reflex enclosure that incorporates the tunnel enclosure design into it, but I was wondering if a bandpass design would be better. Any thoughts?
If ya wanna know the specs of my design, I could dig up the papers... :p |
this for the truck?
|
Man that truck would vibrate til the cows come home with a "couple" of subwoofers :D
|
I wish... :D Actually, my design is too big for my little truck cuz I don't have an extended cab. :( It's a bit bigger than a Bose Acoustimass Module, so I can't fit it behind the seats... I could make the box smaller, but then the low end freqs would get cut off. As it is, my sub could reach freqs as low as about 26hz before the dB falloff point... which ain't too shabby. :)

i have a tube bass me and my grandpa built a while back, we can get it down around to 12hz before the db falloff (you cant really hear it, its just blowin out wind at that point :p)
|
Gawd damn... that's low.
I can hear down to about 18hz. :D |
the hearing test sad i can hear down to about 10 hz and up to 340+hz (i had to build a specail case for my computer, cus the sound it puts out gives me a headacheO.o)
