does anyone know if there is a winamp plugin in existance that allows you to convert .wav into .mp3 ie. converting music from audio cd into mp3z??

if there is not, do you know of any programs that can do this and if so where to get them!!

I higly recomend using a program like CDex

Yep. CDEX seems most convenient for you. There's also AudioGrabber.
