Yeah, Opera is cool esp. for Linux coz it's faster and better than Netscape for Linux (Netscape needs MINUTES to load more than 4 skins and I have DSL)


I don't know if it's better than IE, but its cool and most important, !free! now!!!

I like it. It's best when you use both Opera and Netscape/IE.

The only 'bug' is that it has sometimes problems with Java script, but on the other hand there are many preferences ,your opened sites show as seperate windows within the program,you can turn images on and off with one click and you can zoom webpages in and out just like with Acrobat Reader! ;)

Oh and as for making it your default, as IE5.5 is pretty much windows full time you might struggle, blame Gates for intertwining the O/S and his bloatware nightmare.

You might do it by fucking around in the registry, I don't have a reg edit on this machine yet, so can't help you out.
