bleeding users!
Ok the MikroAMP transparency works like that for a reason:
1) The tray icon transparency: Any colour can be designated as transparent for an icon. I'm loading it in from a bitmap so I don't have the luxury of a transparency colour heading in the image. I could have chosen any colour to be transparent, but then I'd have had a zillion users mailing me to say they wanted to use the most horrible shade of colour in the world ever but it was always transparent. And I couldn't be having that, so pixel definition it is. 2) The region mask: This is seperate and in one place so it can be defined once for the whole skin rather than having to line it up on all the different bits that can be put together to make the windows, and so that no funny bugger is tempted to have different shapes for each play state (bad for performance to re-calc the layout all the time). I could have used the pixel to define transparency here too, but Icon mode appeared in 2.1 not 2.0 and thus the white had already been chosen as transparent, which for reasons noted above was not suitable for the icon. Anymore bitching and I'll just kill MikroAMP OK? ;) (Not really stressed, just thought an explanation would be handy) |
Wha? I never complained. It's just way more advanced (that's a complement) than the rest of Winamp. If I'd read the page properly I would have worked it out. And MikroAmp is the best thing ever.... well maybe sex is better.
