Is the sky really blue? Do all girls have moustaches? And is it natural? If I ripped off my leg would I be any shorter? Where are all the mods at in this forum? I only see about half of them? On the subject on fonts (and off the subject of skins, so shoot me), you said the British road signs use a font called transport. Where do you get it? Where do you guys look to get interesting fonts? I am looking to enlarge my font collection.

Yeah, where is Zeruel? Last I remember of him, he commented on the music playing in the screenshot of my Meddling Kids skin.

Fonts
The Transport font is from a fairly amateurish paysite called 'instant-art'. The guy who deals with the fonts is on holiday so I can't get it even though I need it for a job.:mad:
A good place to start looking for fonts is this page at about.com (some of the links are dodgy but most of the sites are good, especially Chank Fonts). Other good sites are ShyFonts and Acid Fonts. Apologies if some of these are Mac only - I've been to so many that I forget. And fonts can be an important part of skin design so I don't think there's any reason to bring out the firing squad skinme!:) PS- I dont know where Zeruel is. |

Get the full version of Wordperfect or Word..or both! They come with quite a few fonts :)

already have those, and some more that came with a CD-Rom i got with my printer.
But i want to have files whit have about 250 or more fonts. |
Maybe Zeruel got sick of all the crap thats happening in the skin database and just left.

as for the scripting/technical part of winamp3, you're better off asking someone in the wa3 forums, becuase I really don't know anything about that :D RhinoTrip has helped me out with all the scripts in wa3blue. But he has some scripts you can download on his website, http://www.stefanweb.com/wa3/

Did you get an email asking you do do a take-off of 'got milk' for a skin of a dodgy website? Just wondering cause I did.
Think I may have the font somewhere (no promises though) but I've got about 3000+ so give me some time to trace it. By the way if anyone knows where to get some kind of cataloging program to do samples of fonts I'd be really grateful (ATM isn't really up to it). |

Sig guidelines are for everybody to follow,just so happens yours happens to be bigger than recommended, they are also there to make the forums a better place, didn't you say something about not using the sig in every post? :)

Can't find it. Closest match is a font called 'Institution' (as shown below) but I only have it for mac. Probably no good for you unless you have a font convertor.

Don't mention what you want it for just say not knowing what it is is driving you mad and can they help you out. I'd like to know what it is too and it'll be much easier to track down once you know the name (I may even have it after all). |

thanx for trying anyway, actually I've found a font that looks like it, might even be the actual font; CgPhenixAmerican, now all I need is to find the right pic, the one I was planning on using is too small to draw in the milk mustaches. but trying to find a decent transformer pic is even harder the trying to find the font.
