Sever Admin page
There is a Administration page you could log in to remote thru the internet. Can some one please explain how do I use this page and explain the info it produces.
Can some one help a brother out...? Da Bromx Basment Monster  |
Here you go I found this at the bottom of the shoutcast setup your server page.
Since version 1.10, SHOUTcast now has administrative features via webpage access per server. To gain access to the Server's adminsitration pages, open up your web browser of choice and in the Address field, type the following, of course with filling in the information that is relevent to you: http://yourserver:port/admin.cgi?pass=yourpassword |
It shows your all the statistic info like current connections, each connection's duration, IP of the listener, current song ... a bunch of useful info. Just log on to your page and no more questions :p

It just makes no sense!
What's the sense of a remote-administration-page if there's nothing to administrate? It's a nice statistics-page but no administration!
|
disagreed ...
absolutely disagreed  the guy must be having no clue what he's dealing with and ... what admin means at all
|
and even so, his arguement is inaccurate
Check out the Ban, Reserve and Kick Source Features. Those fall under *your* definition of administrate. |
Adminustraion password
What's the password to the administration page? How do I get it? I was never told what it was in my E-mails from Shoutcast

username : admin
password : your_DNAS_Password the whole idea of the page is to see statistics, ban people so on. its not there so you can alter the max users, ports, etc, because hosts use shoutcast. if you could change the max listeners then all hosts would go bust because everyone would pay for 1 - 5 listeners, and then set the DNAS to accept 1000 LOL |
hey good point. Also couldn't of said it better my self!
