Man, I don't know is it because of Windows XP may be... Seeking Bar doesn't move according, neither Time Display work!! AND above all when I start WinAMP, it give ms???.dll error but winamp works.

the seek bar and counter screw up could be caused if you have a Sound Blaster Live! soundcard. Go to the winamp plugins directory (by default c:\program files\winamp\plugins) and see if it contains a file called gen_nomad.dll. If it does, delete it.

One down, one to go!
 

thanx ethan.. it worked. Only problem remaining is msvcrt??.dll error which appears when I start WinAMP.. what's the cure?

Was Winamp fully closed before you removed gen_nomad.dll ?
Have you (knowingly) installed any other extra 3rd party plugins?

btw, please use the link in this thread to report the problem caused by gen_nomad.dll to CreativeLabs.
