MMSYSTEM004 error linked to Bios changes
I was trying to play some MP3 files and couldn't. I was getting the MMSYSTEM004 error. Then I remembered I made some changes to my Bios.
In my Bios's Power Management section I changed my ACPI Function to "Enabled". This killed WinAmp on my system. When I changed it back to "Disabled" WinAmp worked like a charm.
