Winamp3 Alpha L8
|
YES!!!
|
YAY! A new alpha finally! :D :D :D
|
I voted 'I had sex with it!', but it was a lie. That choice just seemed to be the most amusing/appealing/etc. :( I'll actually download it and give it a go now I guess ;)
P.S. - Brennan, your readme rules. I had to change my pants... twice. :D |
Mozilla in minibrowser
Can I make it to use the Gecko engine if i got Netscape 6.1. (Check readme) If yes, please help me. Great, they really start to use the Mozilla/Netscape technology, it should be dafault.
Thanks for answers George |
Okay, excuse me for being the first one to bitch ( I usually don't ), but... WTF does the `playlist directory` is doing on the RIGHT side of the `playlist editor`?? ARGH. I waited too much time for this alpha, and now I can't use it. I can't use it when it's on the RIGHT side! Ugh!! :( :(
|
Why not?
--Brennan |
a. It was much more convinnient(blah, spelling?) and confertable(spelling?, again...) when it was on the left side.
b. Because! Brennan, first, thank you for actually reading this, and second, how about making it an option, shouldn't be too hard. :) ( Sorry for any typo's, am from Israel, this aint ma'language... ) |
Bug
Hi, WA· Team.
Me and my friends are testing the new Alpha. We discoverede a bug at the script manager: When you choose "Other" script Windows displays a General protection error and closes the program. Tested on 2 PIII w98, 1 PIII W2k and 1 K6-2 WIn98 Thanks. P.D: I LOVE WINAMP!!! |
Can't launch WA3 ALPHA L8
I can't launch it, there is a start error
<in french> Le fichier COMMON.DLL est lié à une exportation manquante KERNEL32.DLL:GetfileAttributesExa. </in french> Tested on Win95 PII 500 128 MO RAM |

Just an Alpha....
yeah...but it´s just an Alpha, the purpose of them is finding these errors.
I´m sure WA3 Final will be Great. :) |

hopefully it works on my pentium 3 |
Doesn't even start :(
I get an error saying "The file COMMON.DLL is linked to a missing export of KERNEL32.DLL:GetFileAttributesExA." (probably truncated, error message translated from french to english.)
I have: Pentium 200 MMX Win95 B (fr) 96 Mo RAM ... Well as I can see above it could be a problem with Windows 95 in French? |
Confirming slobodan's error in another thread. L8 doesn't seem to want to start up under NT:
Assertion failed: Expression reg!=NULL File: c:\projects\studio\common\region.cpp Line: 251 This is on a PIII 550, 128MB RAM. |
One question: Where is Alpha 7???
|

brennan -
this is definately your best version of the WA3 ... ive been in the forums for a long time, but never bothered to register; however, you definately deserve some praise for this ... right now its rock solid - playing for a little over 5 hours keep up the good work - mike ------------------------- Dell Dimension 4100 Pentium III - 733 Mhz 256 MB Ram Windows 2K Professional Soundblaster Live! Value blah blah blah, etc. ------------------------- |
No negative options to choose
Nah, I need to explore the new thing in it.... (on the outside... the inside doesn't really care, as long as it plays music) Whats actually so L8 on it? other then that... Super! |
The minimalism is broken here...
After the first minimalism i can't get it back... and after i get it manually back (by right click turn off the main and then turn on again), the minimalism doesnt work |
|
(cough) plugin specs ?
|
/me like speed, more transparency (hahaha you win9x users!)
/me doesn't like clicking the load files button to see another load files menu popup to click again. /me is lazy :D |
Great...
So far so good with the new beta... Only complaint: no 'j' shortcut for going to a specific song.. (love that feature) :)
LW. |

Just installed it. Love it already! The Media Library actually works now!! The only skin I was able to make work with it was Kinwashi's Auriga V.3. All others crashed it. Including Desert Amp. :( (And I love that one!..Hurry Rhino! Fix it!!):D
