Kinda[OT] Question...XMMS
 

will winamp skins work with XMMS and if so how??? i am now using RedHat Linux 7.1 w/XMMS installed... thanks for any/all help

I have XMMS too (though I'm too stupid to configure my soundcard so that it plays without noise:( )Anyway: there is a directory called /.xmms (normally hidden) in /home/*user*/ (ie your home dir). In that dir there is then a Skins/ directory. Place your skins there and you're done. Everything works except for the cursors and MB (naturally not supported) and XMMS displays the default pix if you've cut out the balance buttons for example.


Ah, and you can switch skins with Options/skin browser. (readme is not shown:( )

conclusion: Not really like winamp, but quite good :D
