Interesting idea - I like what you have. Unfortunately, I would miss the numbers area, the posbar, and even occasionally the eq bars.

Nice work though - I'd still probably download it just cause its so different.

What I would do, if I were making this. I'd scoop your skin down to take in the numbers area on the main. Then, I would edit my volume bitmap, so that the actual volume slider was smaller. I'll attach an example in a minute. This way, you could shorten that entire portion of your skin, and it wouldn't make the addition of the numbers look like it cluttered.

The numbers are still there.

But you still might want to do this. See attachment. The white box would be the volume slider, and you would continue it down the bitmaps.

the transparency is good, but u need choose others colors, and personalize more your PLEDIT... :rolleyes:

I like how this is set up. With the way the background winds around though, it seems like it might as well be using the whole skin area since the transparent area behind the skin really won't be functional. I agree with Galtran on a color change, but that is only personal opinion. Excellent design though.

Off Topic Kinda: If you can see a desktop icon through a transparency in a winamp skin, will you be able to click the icon as if winamp were not there, or does it just show that there is an icon with no functionality for the icon until you move winamp to another portion of the screen?

To the contrary, where you cannot see Winamp, it is not there. The clicks apply to the application or desktop beneath. So you would be able to use that icon as if Winamp were not there (which as I said, it is not).
