Well, I've made good habit only to check winamps forums whilst I'm at work... so I leave here in an hour, and then will be here tomorrow... so I guess I'll see it tomorrow.

I appreciate your help - I've been a long-time winamp user and forum browser, but now I'm actually posting :)

- i didnt mean to make you a sig. i started to draw cell from dbz; i asked my bro what he thought and he said it looked more like a butterfly than cell. i was naturally discouraged by this, nonetheless i saw you messing around with a ladybug as an avatar eariler and thought that it would make a leet avatar. came out good so i decided to make a sig.

:D does anyone know any good animation programs that would be good to optimize sax's gif? :p i dont really mess with animated gifs too much.

118,882 bytes -> 86,677 bytes by cutting a few frames and optimizing the palette.

Props to Omit for a decent sig... but I don't think I like it. After giving it about 2 seconds of thought, I want something where the 'S' is big, and something in dark/light blue... the snake pic is optional, but kewlness is required.

Omit, do you like making these sigs? And if so, would you like to make another? If not, that's kewl.

It looks like you put a lot of effort into that snake-sig... how much time did you honestly spend on it?

Umm, that's getting a lot closer to what I'm looking for. I LOVE the font - totally kickass. The color scheme is great too, tho I don't really prefer green. With nothing to go on tho, you did a wonderful job! But I think you're gonna end up losing points for the super-lame avatar... If I used that, people would think I'm in preschool or something... but WinXP is the same way, it looks like it was made for a child :)

You wanna give it another attempt, or have I consumed too much of your time already? :) I really appreciate you guys' work, it must take a lot of creativity to pull it off!

come on man, its funny :) i'll find something else. I can change the "glow" color to whatever you want, just tell me. it took me about ten minutes to find pics, it took me 45 to find a font that looks snakelike (that was the closest) and about 20 to put that stuff together.

@sax, I'll take a crack at your optimization. unfortunatly my graphics programs are at home and I'm currently at school. I could try to stick em on tonight but anthing new i come up with prolby wont be here till monday.

@omit name: I really hate to compete with someone as l33t as you:( . i have no words. :)

i think griff has already done it but if u can get it smaller go for it, i don't care

Have you guys ever thought of taking these artistic and computer skills you have and making some money off of it? You could do some great graphics for someone that wants to re-do their website.

and this saturday (tommorow) i'm taking a photoshop course to perfect my skillz and stuff

I'm trying to make money. I took courses for photoshop, illustrator, pagemaker, golive, and quark. (among others) but i'm always told "oh we have someone for that" then the look around and run away. Besides i enjoy pleasing others (there is no way to type that witout soudning wrong) with stuff i make for them. Usually others happiness is mine. I like doing this but my only complaint is how long it takes to get the stuff to you guys due to lack of net connection with my programs one it( the ones mentioned above) yes i have them on my PC, i have pretty l33t computer program connections.

If anyone wants me to do a job, i will try
