good charlotte
i can't get my good charlotte cd to play in winamp...works fine in the car, windows cd player...etc...but cant get it working in win amp. there's no cda files on the cd....so i dunno wut the sh*t to to do......and it sounds like crap in the windows cd player (as does everytihng else) cus whoever mixed this cd was dumb and the highs are waaaaay to muffled.....so i need an eq dangit!!!!

Cick the upper-left-hand corner of the Winamp main window, and select Play -> Audio CD X: (X: being whatever letter your CD drive really is).

If you need a working equalizer and the ablility to use DSP plugins in conjunction with CD audio, you'll definitely need the CD-Reader plugin for Winamp. It provides digital CDDA playback instead of the usual, analog playback, offering better quality and other advantages :).
To play back enhanced CDs (CDs that have both audio and binary computer data on them), simply follow NeoRenegade's instructions, that's the only way to play back enhanced CDs with Winamp. I know that sawg already posted a link about CD-Reader, but he was so very brief ... :rolleyes: Peace. |
