Has skin publishing been effected by the layoffs?
 

Mabey i just remeber wrong but there used to be a constant flow of new skins on winamp, mabey not alot of skins at one time but always a few new ones. has the layoffs effected this somehow?

the waiting line is cut back.. maybe that makes it seem less skins get pblished..

Considering the review team are not employed by NS, the answer would be no.

Several database problems have slowed the publish rate down over the last week or so.

Plus, the reviewers work at their own pace, it's the weekend, they might be doing real life stuff, at the minute there is approx just under 1 months worth of skins in the database, waiting to be reviewed.

Be patient, thats all :)

thanks, i've just been a paranoied bastered b/c my first skin ever has been weighting 4 weeks already and i just what to get it published

Skin ID number??, i go tell you where it might be in the queue.....

i checked the skin publeshing screen and my skin is in the unpublished catagory, where do i find the id #

Wave your cursor over the edit line, should show you the url path in your browser status bar, make a note of the 5 digit number in it.

The first skin in the review queue at the minute is dated....8th of August, I would say you have another few days, week at tops to wait for yours, 8th of August seemed a busy day for some reason, lots and lots of subs on that day, was it a weekend I wonder?

Hey MJ. Three thangs:
1. Whatever happened to your website you were talking about a while ago?
2. Would you mind checking this one up for me? 76438. I'm guessing it's gonna be another coupla weeks.
3. Would it be possible to make a simple version of the skin review ordering available to the public? (not links to the skins or anything). Just name, author and position in list.

1) It's in limbo, I'm like that, start summat, put it down for a while, come back to it, I'll get there , eventually.

2) Can't log into the database at the minute, but basically take your date and add about 3 weeks or so to it.
3) Doubtfull
