i tried to upload a skin, but i got an error message that said i wasn't authorized, can anybody help?

I think you can send it to one of the Mods in the Skin Love forum and have them submit it if you are having trouble.

PS. crossposting isnt gonna get you the answer faster, you only have to post in one place with one thread, no need to make more than 1.

did you create a username and password in the skins submission page? The username that you use here in the forums is not the same account.

Other than that - the database is in need of help at the moment - due to the reshuffle of jobs at Nullsoft there is no-one to look after it. So it's quite possible that the skins submission page is down at the moment.

If after you log in, you get the "mike would love to whip your ass" screen and some text about insufficient user permissions, close all your open browser windows, re-open them and go back to the submissions page, it should now work.

If you have got past that stage, and are still having problems, then it's likely to be as ethan says, a database problem, god knows there are enougth of them at the momment, please try back later when hopefully it is fixed.
